It's been a while since my last post on the blog. I'm pretty busy at my new position. When I actually get home after a hard day at work all I want is a tasty supper, a good movie and soft bed.
his morning has suddenly interrupted my dream with Scottish bagpipes and drums. Right in from of my window a remembrance day parade rehearsal took place. It was so amazing that I didn't get mad at all. It was very exciting. Honestly speaking it was the first time I was someone playing bagpipes so good!
It usually takes me around 30 minutes to take a shower and to have a breakfast and to get dressed but today I did it all in 10 minutes! I couldn't waste a second because those guys might have gone in an unpredictable direction! I grabbed my camera and ran outdoors.
Right in front of my eyes each and every Canadian force branch was represented. They were marching their specific ways but they all were in sync. It was a tremendous show. I followed them to the Victory square which is on the West Hastings, between Cambie and Hamilton streets. It's one block north from my apartment! I'm gonna call my relocation specialist Heather and thank her for an perfect apartment location!
